Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of checkpassdone.com and the training courses provided by CheckPassDone Training ("CheckPassDone", "we", "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a course or completing training, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an employer, you confirm you have authority to do so.
Accounts and access
Each seat grants access to one named learner. Accounts and course access may not be shared, resold or transferred between people. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe an account is being shared or misused.
Purchases and pricing
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is due at purchase. Employer accounts may be invoiced under agreed terms. Course content, pricing and availability may change; changes do not affect courses already purchased.
Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase provided you have not completed the final assessment or been issued a certificate. Refund requests are handled by email and processed to the original payment method. Once a certificate is issued, the purchase is final.
Assessments and certificates
Certificates record that a learner completed our training and met the requirements of that course's assessment on the date shown. A certificate is not a licence, a certification issued by a regulator, or a determination that an individual is competent in every situation. Employers remain responsible for their own policies, supervision and any jurisdictional requirements that apply to their workplace. We may revoke a certificate obtained through misrepresentation or misuse of an account.
Intellectual property
All course videos, written material, assessments and branding remain the property of CheckPassDone Training. You may use them for your own training only. Recording, copying, redistributing or using our material to deliver training to others is not permitted without written permission.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the platform available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may perform maintenance or update course content. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions, refund requests and support: support@checkpassdone.com.
